Where do I belong?

So everyone is splitting up and going to their Sunday School classes, but you don't know where you're supposed to go... Have no fear! While many of our classes are divided by age, there is no rule that says you have to attend a certain one. Below you'll find some basic information on each class, but we encourage you to try out a couple and find the one that fits you best!

Nursery (ages 0-2)

Our nursery is divided into 2 classes, one for infants and one for toddlers. Our nursery workers rotate monthly, but no worries, your children will be in very capable and trained hands!

2&3 Year Olds

Led by Michelle Williams, your little one will learn basic bible stories in lessons created specifically for them.

4&5 Year Olds

Led by two of our most experienced children's ministry leaders, Lois Proffitt and Mabel McDowell, your child will enjoy making crafts and learning about Jesus in a creative environment.

1st & 2nd Graders

Taught by Sara Jordan, who also leads M&Ms, our Wednesday night kids program. Her classes focus not only on Bible Stories, but also on missions and service, creatively teaching our kids how to live out the word of God.

3rd, 4th, & 5th Graders

This class is led by Dee deChuebel, and you will be hard-pressed to find a more passionate teacher for this age group. Your pre-teens will learn about God in a class that is also preparing them to be Men and Women on fire for Christ.
All children's classes are located on our kids hall in the original building

Youth (6th-10th Grade)

Led by our Youth Director, Matt Tuck, and other youth leaders, our teens learn biblical truths relevant to their lives as well as how to be active church members and servants of Christ. Our youth classroom is the very last room to the right on our Sunday School hallway.

Solid Food

This class is for our 11th and 12th graders along with our college students. Taught by Jason Yopp and his wife, Jessica, this class moves beyond the basic Sunday School lesson, giving our young people the food they need to thrive in the world around them. This class is located in our Youth 2 room, the last class on the left of our Sunday School hallway.

Based on the verse found in 1st Timothy, this newly created class aims to bring together young singles and couples who support one another and work together to be a light in our church and community. This class is located on the Sunday School hallway, in the second to last classroom to the left.

Sisters in Spirit

Located in our Library and led by Cathy Jones, this class was created for our ladies, specifically moms. If you're looking for kindred spirits and a welcoming environment, this class is for you!

Seekers & Believers

Once our young adult class, this class, co-led by Jay Wallen and Alan Tuck and located in the Fellowship Hall, has grown together throughout the years. If you enjoy a friendly environment and going deep into the Word of God, then you will enjoy this class.

Way, Truth, & Life

Like our Seekers and Believers class, the Way, Truth, & Life class have been together for many years, but are still growing deeper in their relationships and in their knowledge of the Lord. Located in the very first classroom to the left of our Sunday School hallway, you could find your forever home with this class!

Trust & Obey

Newly located in what once was the Seekers and Believers classroom (3rd classroom to the left on the Sunday School hallway). this is one of our fastest growing classes at the moment, and for good reason! Led by Jim Chapin, this is a fun, warm, and Spirit-filled class. And, if that wasn't enough, this class often has baked goods brought in by our residential celebrity chef, Ms. Tina.

The Shepherds

Located in the second class to the left on the Sunday School hallway, The Shepherds class is one of two classes designed for our senior members. This class is led by Al Nichols and seeks to delve deep into the Word of God and explore its ever-relevant themes.

Love One Another

Our second senior class option is led by former pastor, Joe Stephenson. Conveniently located in our choir room (behind the sanctuary), this class has a side-door entrance for members with mobility limitations.
All classes are overseen by our Sunday School Director, John Kozlowski, and most of our adult classes follow the same curriculum, purchased through Lifeway.
